'The Queen: Art and Image', a major exhibition featuring portraits of The Queen to mark Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, has opened in Edinburgh. Turcan Connell is delighted to be sponsoring the Scottish leg of the exhibition which is being hosted at the National Galleries of Scotland until September, before it heads to Cardiff, Belfast and London.

James Holloway, Director of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, joined us last week, as we hosted a drinks reception followed by a private view of the exhibition for our guests who were the first to see the wide range of portraits in different media, from artists as diverse as Cecil Beaton and Annie Leibovitz to Pietro Annigoni and Andy Warhol, which track the evolution of royal portraiture over the last six decades.
