Building on their experience of dealing with complex rural and estate titles, Turcan Connell has set up a dedicated Land Registration Unit to deal with Voluntary Registration applications.

The Land Registration Unit is already dealing with a large number of Voluntary Registration applications, and have developed a close working relationship with Registers of Scotland through this work and their membership of the Land Register Completion Stakeholder Engagement Group.

There will be a number of factors which will have a bearing on whether or not Voluntary Registration is appropriate and when an application for Voluntary Registration should be submitted. We would therefore encourage you to contact the Land Registration Unit at or your usual contact at Turcan Connell to let us know if you wish to seek Voluntary Registration of the title to your property in the Land Register. We can then advise you on the process, the timing and the likely cost of Voluntary Registration of the title to your property.
