Turcan Connell is delighted to be taking part in the 2013 Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run and we are extremely proud that all our fundraising efforts will be donated to East Park.
East Park has provided Education and Supported Accommodation services to children and young people with additional support needs, including autism, since 1874. Its philosophy reflects current legislation, best practice and a commitment to excellence. All of East Park's services focus on the needs of the young people and encourage partnership with the child and family. Its purpose built state of the art facilities help to continuously improve their services and skills in working with children from across Scotland.
The Scottish Great Run has now been running for more than 20 years and was first held in 1982. The Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run has grown each year, with the 2012 event reaching a record high of 24,089 entrants to reaffirm the race as the largest mass participation sporting event in the country. The 2013 course will start in George Square and finish on Glasgow Green taking in some of Glasgow's finest landmarks in the process.
