The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU).
GDPR becomes enforceable from 25th May 2018 after a two-year transition period and, unlike a directive, it does not require national governments to pass any enabling legislation, and isdirectly binding and applicable.
The Charity Law Team at Turcan Connell, ahead of hosting a seminar on GDPR on 20th March 2018, is looking to find out more about the engagement with GDPR across the third sector and would be grateful if you could please complete the below survey.
Results of the survey will be announced at the seminar. Should you wish to attend the seminar taking place in our Edinburgh office, please click here.
