I specialise in Scottish Charity Law and Philanthropy and am a member of the Charity Law Association. The third sector holds a vital and unique space in society and advocating for charitable bodies is key to my practice. My particular focus is charity governance and advising boards on all aspects of charity law and regulation. 

Engagement and collaboration between stakeholders is key to the third sector’s success, and my interest in both charity governance and philanthropy advice seeks to bridge the conversation between donors and charities. 

As a board member of a cultural organisation, I understand first-hand the challenges charities face today. With this insight, I provide pragmatic, forward-thinking advice that helps charities continue their work long after my involvement.
