Simran is an Associate specialising in the areas of trust, asset protection and succession planning for individuals and families. Simran advises on lifetime and post death tax planning, Will drafting and trust and executry administration. She also advises on Powers of Attorney. Simran has experience in advising clients on contentious and cross border estates. Simran studied Law and Economics at the University of Edinburgh, graduating in 2005. She also spent part of her Honours year at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She joined Turcan Connell as a trainee solicitor in 2006 having completed the Diploma in Legal Practice. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2008, and was promoted to Associate in 2017.

Simran is a Notary Public and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Scotland) in May 2013. In 2010, she was awarded the STEP Wills and Executries Student of the Year Award for the highest marks in the 2010 exam. Simran also completed her Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in 2007. Simran is fluent in Punjabi.
