Louise has experience in a broad range of rural conveyancing matters including the sale and purchase of land and rural properties, servitudes, security work and generally providing advice with regard to any conveyancing matters that arise in the course of the management of rural property.

Louise has particular experience in development sales for large residential developments in both urban and rural locations including preparation of option agreements and conditional contracts. She has developed a particular understanding of the commercial points and practical issues arising for both parties.

Louise has acted on numerous onshore wind and hydro energy projects on behalf of landowners and developers. She has particular expertise in dealing with the issues arising with multi landowner wind and hydro energy projects, complex estate titles and numerous option agreements and leases and dealing with security work for financing such projects.

Louise obtained her LLB (Hons) from the University of Glasgow and her Diploma in Legal Practice from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law. Louise completed her traineeship with Turcan Connell and became an Associate in April 2013. Louise was assumed Partner at Turcan Connell in 2015.
