At the beginning of the week we were outlining Turcan Connell’s approach to the Coronavirus outbreak and as we come to the weekend I wanted to give you a brief update. Our thoughts remain with all those affected, and being in touch with family, friends and neighbours is very important right now.
We have taken action to minimise disruption to you while also ensuring that we follow government advice in doing our utmost to keep our staff and wider community safe:
- The vast majority of us are now comfortably working from home and a remote test we ran earlier in the week demonstrated the robustness of our operation in this regard
- A core team will remain in our Edinburgh office while that continues to be possible and we are giving our people advice and as much support as we can to allow them to work seamlessly
- Although at present no face-to-face meetings are taking place we will continue to service your needs via email, telephone and video conferencing
- We would ask that you correspond with us wherever possible by telephone or email. If you do need to send us mail in the post it would be helpful if you could also email your contact or alternatively firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know something is on the way
Life has changed in a very short period of time, and please be reassured that we are here to support you as required. Please do not hesitate to be in touch so that we can help in any way we can.
I hope that despite everything you and your family manage some much needed respite over the weekend.
