This year’s Turcan Connell Charity Hockey Tournament took place on Friday 31st August. This time raising the amazing amount of £8,181 for its nominated Charity of the Year, Down’s Syndrome Scotland.
The evening was a success and saw Turcan Connell finish in second place. Taking on the team were Barclays, Cornelian, French Duncan, Galbraith, Pinsents, Rathbones, Tcam, DLA Piper and tournament champions, Aberdeen Standard.
The tournament, which took place at Goldenacre playing fields, not only saw some impressive hockey played, but also a great list of raffle and auction prizes, thanks to an array of generous donations made by various contacts and businesses across Scotland.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who gave their time and helped to ensure that the tournament was again such a success."

This brings Turcan Connell’s fundraising total so far for the charity to over £13,000 with a few more months of fundraising still to go.
