Turcan Connell was pleased to take part in a charity quiz recently in aid of Craighalbert. The quiz was hosted by French Duncan, Chartered Accountants, and a number of teams from companies across Glasgow and beyond took part.

Craighalbert is a centre for children with motor impairments based in Cumbernauld. The quiz raised the sum of £2,866.00 for the charity, all of which went to Craighalbert.

A representative for French Duncan said: 'We are delighted that this year's pub quiz has been such a success, which is down to the generosity of everyone that came along to support us on the night. Craighalbert is a fantastic charity and we are looking forward to supporting them throughout the rest of the year.'

The Turcan Connell team included Partners Gavin McEwan, Noel Ferry and Louise Johnston, and lawyers Andrew Fairlie, Emma Horne and Zaynab Al Nasser. Modesty (or possibly mild embarrassment!) prevents the team from saying how well they performed on the night: suffice to say that there will need to be an improvement in the standard of general knowledge before next year's attempt. Gavin McEwan said: 'The Turcan Connell team really enjoyed taking part in the quiz in aid of such a good cause as Craighalbert. Well done to French Duncan for organising such a successful event.'
