Lesley Roarty

As a member of the Land and Property team, I have built up almost 20 years experience in the renewable energy sector. I have dealt with projects all over Scotland involving a range of technologies including hydro, solar, energy from waste and more recently, battery storage, with a particular emphasis on onshore wind. I act for a variety of clients including developers, landowners, funders and community bodies, bringing considerable commercial insight through dealing with these transactions from all angles. I also have particular experience in the trickier aspects of property law and enjoy the challenge of successfully navigating the complex issues that arise in the context of energy projects and historic land titles.

I consider myself to be a real team player who works collaboratively with clients and other advisers to get things done. Pragmatic and personable, I aim to keep things as simple as possible for my clients. In turn, they value my responsiveness and my commercial, balanced advice.
