Joseph Slane

My role involves applying an understanding of legal and market practice to support the firm’s Tax & Succession department. My responsibilities include the development and maintenance of knowledge resources to support my colleagues in the delivery of expert legal advice to our clients. Where there are developments in law and practice, my role involves communicating those to the Tax & Succession team and wider firm while encouraging knowledge sharing in the process. Where required, I provide support and advice to my colleagues on legal queries which might require complex research or analysis. My role also involves engagement with external bodies and networks on behalf of the firm. I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP) Scotland Branch Committee.

My approach to working with colleagues and clients is always a personable one. My goal is to be a friendly face that can be relied upon for clear, accurate and practical advice that is always tailored to the circumstances.
