Faye Cooke

I trained at Turcan Connell, qualifying into the tax and succession department in autumn 2024. My work involves the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, executry administration, and advising on the administration and taxation of trusts. I am currently studying towards the STEP Diploma.

Before my traineeship, I obtained my LLB and Diploma while also working as a legal librarian, which was my career for many years. I bring life experience to my current role which allows me to really empathise with the families and individuals I advise. The more human elements of private client work appeal to me but I also enjoy the technical challenge that tax law and policy presents. It is gratifying to work collaboratively with expert legal and tax colleagues to find pragmatic solutions for our clients.
