We have an exciting opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our Employment Law and Dispute Resolution team.

The successful candidate will have three to four years post qualified experience or be at Senior Solicitor level. The individual will require to have had experience in Dispute Resolution. Some Employment Law experience would be advantageous but not essential. This position is on a full time basis based in our Edinburgh office.

Our Employment and Dispute Resolution team provides advice on a wide range of employment, contentious and potentially contentious issues relating to in particular succession, contract and land and property. The team provides specialist advice for charities, family and private businesses and rural employers in Scotland.


Your work would involve providing advice on a full range of issues and a broad range of dispute matters including property litigation, contentious trust and executry, intellectual property, professional negligence, commercial disputes, partnership disputes, agricultural disputes, public inquiries, data protection and freedom of information and environmental and wildlife matters.

You would be expected to have a sound knowledge of litigation and alternative methods of dispute resolution. You will be able to handle a wide variety of challenging work with minimum supervision.

In providing advice to clients, you will work with other private client experts to ensure that fully integrated holistic advice is given to our clients.
