Our internship is aimed at law students about to commence or currently in their 3rd year and also those studying the accelerated LLB.
Our summer internships will provide genuine work experience and a chance to develop your skills in a friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to work in successful teams led by specialists in their fields.
Our exceptional team of lawyers provides pragmatic joined-up advice to individuals, families and charities on wills, estate planning and succession, tax, land and property, divorce and family, employment, dispute resolution and family and private businesses.
Our tax experts provide clear and effective advice, ensuring that all tax exemptions and reliefs are fully utilised. We offer a complete service which includes managing tax returns and yearly tax bills. We integrate our tax advice across the firm ensuring we provide our clients with tailored, joined-up solutions.
The summer intern programme runs for a six week period usually between June and August and interns will be allocated to one area within Land and Property or Tax and Succession. All our interns are assigned a mentor and receive a firm-wide induction. Our summer internship is structured to provide hands-on experience and involve you with client work as often as possible.
If you want to know more about private client work then what better introduction than to work at Scotland's leading private client firm? And if, like most of our interns, you then decide to apply for a traineeship with us, you will be guaranteed an interview.
Applications for our 2019 Summer Internships are now open.
Please note, the interviews for Summer Internships will take place on Thursday 24th January 2019.
