I specialise in property aspects of renewables developments. My work in this area goes back as far as 1998 when some of the first windfarms were being developed in Scotland. Windfarms continue to be my main focus, however I also advise frequently on solar and battery storage projects. I have been involved in advising in excess of 100 landowners in this sector. I am increasingly involved in complex arrangements where different phases of windfarms may overlap either with each other, or with other renewables or other projects.

I view listening carefully to the needs of clients and probing for details of their property interests as being vital in this area to be able to tease out all issues at as early a stage as possible in every transaction. I think clients and their agents appreciate my thoroughness and approachability.
