Charity Law
Our partners are leading the development of charity law in Scotland. From national institutions to small foundations, we give advice that is tailored to our clients' needs.
We advise on the constitution and merger of charities, variation of purposes, powers and duties, and relationships with regulatory bodies such as HM Revenue and Customs, the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator and other arms of Government.
Our service to charities includes accounting and administration, in itself an increasingly specialised area.
Clients include major national institutions, heritage bodies, grant-giving trusts, fundraising bodies, endowment funds and private foundations.
For further information, contact Simon Mackintosh, head of our charities group.
