We understand that as an owner and manager of land you may face specific challenges which call for dispute resolution.  We have a team of solicitors and a solicitor advocate at Turcan Connell which has particular expertise in resolving issues affecting individuals and their personal property or business interests.

The level of expertise and experience within the team allows us to provide clients with focused and practical advice on a wide range of contentious issues, including contracts, purchases and sales of land, leases, rights of access, servitudes, building contracts, judicial review or damage to property.  We are also able to advise clients in relation to contentious issues involving livestock, animal welfare and wildlife crime.  In addition to general property issues, we can also advise on landlord and tenant issues and have built up considerable expertise in this area.

We regularly conduct cases in the Court of Session in Edinburgh and the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland.  We can guide you through the process whether you are pursuing an action or defending your rights. We are currently instructed in relation to a number of Public Planning Inquiries for major infrastructure projects.
