Tom Duguid
Senior Associate, Trust & Tax

Tom advises UK and international private clients and trustees on tax and succession planning, trust law, asset protection and charity law. He is dual qualified in Scots and English law.
In the field of tax and succession planning, Tom has a particular focus on the use of onshore and offshore trusts, companies, partnerships and other wealth planning structures. He advises business owners on planning for disposals and tax efficient restructuring. Tom provides advice to a broad range of charities and national institutions. He also advises on the sale, purchase and loan of art together with UK heritage issues.
Tom joined Turcan Connell in 2002 after studying law at the University of Edinburgh. He qualified as a solicitor in 2004. Tom is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Scotland and a Notary Public.
