Tom Duguid

Tom advises UK and international private clients and trustees on tax, trust and succession planning, asset protection and charity law.

In the field of tax and succession planning, Tom has a particular focus on the use of onshore and offshore trusts, companies, partnerships and other wealth planning structures. He also advises business owners on planning for disposals and capital tax efficient restructuring.  Tom provides advice to a broad range of charities and on art and heritage issues.

Tom joined Turcan Connell in 2002 after studying law at the University of Edinburgh. He qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and became an Associate in 2009.  Tom is a Notary Public and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Scotland.
