Lindsey Ogilvie

Lindsey works alongside Alasdair Loudon and has wide-ranging experience of contentious and non-contentious cases. She handles a range of issues in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and the Court of Session in Edinburgh. She deals with a large number of cases concerning financial provision on separation for married couples, cohabitants and civil partners. Negotiations are conducted both within and outside the Court process.
Lindsey also advises on the preparation of Pre-Nuptial, Post-Nuptial and Cohabitation Agreements for clients wishing to make financial provision in the event of a later separation. She is recognised particularly for the sympathetic and fair approach that she takes to child-related matters.
Lindsey graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Strathclyde before working at the European Commission in Brussels. Following a period in London, she returned to Edinburgh where she gained her Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh. Lindsey joined Turcan Connell in April 2008 and is a member of the Family Law Association.
