Alix Storrie

Alix specialises in tax and estate planning for private clients, their families and trusts.

She advises primarily on Wills and succession planning, including lifetime and post death tax planning, trust law and asset protection. She has considerable experience in dealing with complex issues arising out of landed estates, including claims for reliefs such as business and agricultural property relief. She also advises on Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and local authority financial assessments for residential care.

Alix joined Turcan Connell in 2002 after graduating from University of Aberdeen (LLB Hons DipLP). She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and was promoted to Senior Solicitor in 2007 and then Associate in April 2009. Alix is a Notary Public and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She is also a tutor on the Private Client course of the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
