Chris Sheldon

Chris advises on trusts, tax planning and asset protection for individuals and families. He also advises on succession planning including wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration. Chris is also a member of the Charities Legal Team where his work includes the formation of charities, charity governance, reorganisation, merger and dissolution.

Chris studied at the University of Aberdeen, graduating with a Master of Arts in psychology before reading law and completing the Diploma in Legal Practice. He joined Turcan Connell as a trainee in 2003 and qualified as a solicitor in 2005.

He is a member of CFA UK, the Chartered Management Institute, the British Psychological Society and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Chris is also a charity trustee of Families Outside, The John Watson Trust and The Church of St John’s & King’s Park.
