Litigation

Stuart advises clients on all litigation matters, as well as conducting cases on their behalf. In particular, he deals with cases involving property, executry litigation, and partnership disputes.

Stuart appears frequently in the Sheriff Court, and has also appeared in the Court of Session, and before many other tribunals. He has experience in cases involving servitudes and rights of access, interdicts in construction cases, and recovering possession of heritable property, as well as a wide range of non-property related litigation.

Stuart graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1997 and completed his traineeship in 1999. He called to the bar in 2000, and joined Turcan Connell in 2007.
