Norman Dalgleish
Senior Financial Planner, Financial Planning

A Certified Financial Planner, Norman provides private clients with advice on pensions and retirement planning, protection, risk management, tax planning and strategic investment. Norman is a member of the Asset Allocation and Implementation Committee at Turcan Connell.
Norman has a first class honours degreee in mathematics from Edinburgh University and a PhD in the statistical analysis of long-term climate change. His financial career began in 1995 with Safeway plc in London, before becoming an investment analyst with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and later with Aegon Asset Management. In 2004 he moved to MLP Private Finance as a financial planner before joining Turcan Connell in 2007.
In 2008 Norman was awarded the Standard Life President's Shield by the Insurance Society of Edinburgh and in 2010 was awarded the President's Quaich for attaining the Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society. Norman is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning Scottish Branch Committee.
