Tax Compliance
Laura is responsible for the management and development of the Tax Compliance team of 10, and ensures the efficient running of the department. She deals with all aspects of personal taxation for UK and non-UK resident individuals, trusts and estates taxation, and provides income tax and capital gains tax planning for high-net-worth clients.
Laura has over 12 years' private client tax experience. She joined Turcan Connell in August 1999, having previously worked with another leading Edinburgh law firm where she dealt with a varied portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Prior to that, Laura studied for her ACCA qualifications whilst working with a large Edinburgh-based Life Assurance company.
