Gillian deals mainly with high-net-worth cases in the Court of Session, and disputes concerning children. She is Secretary of the Scottish Collaborative Family Law Group.
Gillian has practised exclusively in family law for the past six years, and joined Turcan Connell from Loudons WS, a specialist family law practice, having previously trained at Dundas & Wilson.She has acted in several high profile cases in the Court of Session, covering such issues as the valuations of shares in private companies, employee incentive schemes and share options, taxation, and the interaction between partnership law and family law. She also deals with child related disputes including child abduction.
She has been instrumental in introducing Collaborative Law, an innovative form of dispute resolution to Scotland and is currently the Secretary of the National Group.
