Derek helps clients to develop retirement solutions and strategies for investment, estate planning, protection and savings.

He started his career with Scottish Widows, and has been advising private clients since 1993. Derek has held senior financial planning positions with Dunedin Independent and Chase de Vere.

Derek is a Certified Financial Planner and holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate. He is a member of The Institute of Financial Planning and The Personal Finance Society.

Derek joined Turcan Connell in January 2005.
