Bob Hair

Bob is responsible for the management and delivery of Turcan Connell’s Financial Planning services and for the operational co-ordination and delivery of Turcan Connell Family Office.  He is a member of the firm’s Asset Management Executive, and has key roles in various internal groups covering marketing, client reporting, product development and tax efficient schemes and investments.

A Certified Financial Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist, Bob provides strategic advice on wealth structuring, pensions, retirement planning, risk management, tax efficient investment schemes, cash management, offshore investment and asset allocation.

After graduating in Economics from Strathclyde University, Bob worked for The Herald newspaper, before moving into the financial industry with Scottish Widows as a financial planning consultant in 1995. He joined Capel Cure Sharp in 1999, which subsequently merged with Gerrard in 2001. Working initially as an independent financial planner, he progressed to become Area Manager for Scotland of Gerrard's financial planning team. He joined Turcan Connell in March 2004 as Financial Planning Director. In April 2009 he was promoted to Director of Financial Planning (Principal) and in April 2010 he was promoted to Head of Financial Planning.
