Robin advises clients on all aspects of succession planning and capital tax mitigation, particularly for business owners and professional advisers.
Robin qualified as a solicitor in 1979, specialising exclusively in tax, trusts and succession planning. He was assumed as a partner with Shepherd & Wedderburn in 1982, and joined Turcan Connell as a partner in 1999.
He regularly contributes to professional courses run by the Law Society of Scotland and others and is a former member of Simon's Editorial Board and a former Senior Tutor in the Diploma Private Client Course at Edinburgh University.
