Neil's background encompasses institutional fund management, stockbroking and financial
services with a variety of firms. He has responsibility for North American and Japanese funds
as well as researching direct equity investments and managing the AIM Portfolio Service.

He joined Turcan Connell in 2006 as a Senior Investment Manager. Having started a career in
fund management with Edinburgh Investment Trust in the late 1970’s, he has since worked with Standard Life, Life Association of Scotland, Brewin Dolphin, where he was Group Investment Strategist, and Edward Jones.

Neil has a Law degree from Edinburgh University, is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute and holds the Chartered Institute of Insurance Financial Planning Certificate.
