As well as managing private client funds, Richard is responsible for fixed interest analysis, is joint manager of the CF TC Investment Funds Income Portfolio and is a member of the firm’s Charity Unit.

Richard joined Turcan Connell as an Investment Manager in November 2002. Having completed a degree in Management and International Relations at St Andrews University in 1990, he initially spent time in Germany teaching English before returning to Edinburgh, where he worked in both the Scottish Office Higher Education Policy Division and on the management team of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

In 1998 he joined Murray Beith Murray as an Investment Manager. He completed the Securities Institute Diploma in 2000 and was made a Fellow of the Securities Institute the following year.
