In addition to his primary responsibility for portfolio management, Peter is a member of the UK Equity Research team and covers the Pacific and Emerging Markets.

Peter joined Turcan Connell in 2000 as a Senior Investment Manager. He read Literae Humaniores at Oxford and joined Gill & Duffus in 1975 as a commodity trader, dealing on the London Metal Exchange.

This gave him extensive Far East knowledge, and in 1979 he joined investment managers Murray Johnstone, initially looking after their Far East investments before moving to the North American desk. He became a UK Pension fund manager in 1985 and joined their private client team in 1997 where he set up their pooled fund service.

In 1999 he joined Gillespie Macandrew, managing private client funds before joining Turcan Connell.
