Hamish is the Non-executive Chairman of the Turcan Connell Investment Board.

Hamish was formerly Chairman (Scotland) of NatWest Securities Ltd. He has worked primarily in the investment trust sector since 1969 and was for many years head of the award-winning investment research team at NatWest Securities (and its predecessor firms, including Wood Mackenzie).

He is a Director of several investments trusts and is a former Chairman of the Association of Investment Companies.
