James manages private client, SIPP and charity investment portfolios. James has particular responsibility for Turcan Connell’s AiM Portfolio Service and for the research of North American equities.

James joined Turcan Connell as a trainee solicitor in 2000 and transferred to the investment department upon obtaining his practising certificate from the Law Society of Scotland in 2002 and subsequently qualified as an Investment Manager.

He graduated in law Aberdeen University and completed the diploma in Legal Practice at Edinburgh University. He is a Member of the Securities Institute.
