Neil MacPherson
Investment Director, Investment Management
Neil heads up a client team of four. He has responsibility for North America and Japanese funds as well as researching direct equity investments and managing Turcan Connell's AIM Portfolio Service. He is a member of the Asset Allocation & Implementation Committee.
Neil's Background encompasses institutional fund management, stockbroking and financial services with a variety of firms. Having started a career in fund management with Edinburgh Investment Trust in the late 1970’s, he has since worked with Standard Life, Life Association of Scotland, Brewin Dolphin, where he was Group Investment Strategist, and Edward Jones.
He joined Turcan Connell in 2006 as a Senior Investment Manager and was promoted in April 2009 to Investment Director.
Qualifications:
Law degree from Edinburgh University
Chartered Institute of Insurance Financial Planning Certificate
Memberships:
Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
