Richard Hyder
Head of Charity Investment, Investment Management and Charities

As well as managing private client funds including trusts and pension portfolios, Richard specialises in charity investment. He represents the Asset Management Division on Turcan Connell's Charity Unit and is a member of the UK Equity Research team focusing on pooled funds. Richard’s responsibilities also include ethical and socially responsible fund research and he is part of the team responsible for marketing and business development.
Richard joined Turcan Connell in 2002 as an Investment Manager, becoming Senior Investment Manager in 2003 and was promoted in April 2011 to Head of Charity Investment.
Richard brings wider charity expertise having worked at the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, as a member of an investment committee advising a charitable organisation and its pensions trustees a board member of an Edinburgh-based arts charity and an elected Council Member of the National Trust for Scotland.
