New Partner at Turcan Connell

New Partner at Turcan Connell

Turcan Connell, the private client firm, has strengthened its trust and tax practice with the promotion of Alexander Garden to Partner. Garden, who was the first trainee lawyer the firm took on when it was established ten years ago, specialises in succession planning and asset protection for UK and international clients.

The move, which is part of the firm’s strategy of building Turcan Connell’s home-grown talent, brings the total number of Partners to eighteen.

Alexander Garden joined Turcan Connell in 1997. After qualifying, he joined the firm’s trust and tax practice as a solicitor before becoming an associate in 2004 and then a senior associate in 2006. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and is a tutor for the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.

Alexander's appointment is effective from 1 April 2007.
