Move or improve?

In these challenging times, homeowners who require extra living space have to make the tough decision of whether to put their home on the market, knowing that the sale price may be lower than hoped for, or to invest in it, with the view of adding both space and value to the property for the future.  Solicitors and Asset Managers Turcan Connell together with representatives from Savills, Somner Macdonald and Johnston Carmichael will tackle this dilemma at a free evening seminar on Thursday 4th June 2009.

The expert panel will discuss the impact the economic downturn has had on residential property, development regulations and VAT issues, and will offer practical advice and guidance for those considering investing in home improvements or indeed putting their property on the market.

The seminar will begin at 6.30pm and will be held at Turcan Connell’s offices at Princes Exchange, 1 Earl Grey Street, Edinburgh, EH3 9EE.

There is no charge for this seminar but places are limited. To reserve your place please contact Rachel Ruxton on rachel.ruxton@turcanconnell.com or 0131 228 8111.
